Lagavulin 12 Year Old 2016 Release Whisky Bottled at 42%Part of Diageo's Special Releases for 2016, this is the 16th release of the Lagavulin 12yo and also formed part of the distillery's 200th anniversary celebrations. Although these annual releases are limited editions, Diageo do not disclose how many bottles of the 12yo were produced. Aged in refill American oak hogsheads and bottled at a cask strength of 57. 7%. Nose: Powerful and punchy with smoked kippers, a sweet earthiness and notes of rubber.
